Not quite sure how but found myself wandering back towards meditation this week (blogged about great post on Ikigai last year on the martial arts mind, previously). It has coincided with continuing to look at neuroplasticity and mind/brain training initiatives whilst waiting for an anatomy and physiology assessment to come back (and have been putting off studying further body systems diagrams for a couple of days). Its quite interesting hearing Michael Merzenich talking about the brain mapping the body maps, I’d quite like my brain to tell me how its doing it !
Still trying to figure out if meditation is brain training or what is happening is learning and how they are different – the conscious or subconscious attention. Hmmmm
