first home training in a week

After succumbing to yet another seasonal delight, got back to do some fairly light home based kicking and poomsae practice today.  Have to do some strange maneouvering around glass tables and other such things but great for balance and co-0ordination

Following second appointment with physio today, am going to work on transverse abdominis muscles whilst continuing with exercises to strengthen pelvic floor. My medicine ball (3 kg) arrived today but I was advised not to use yet for e.g. situps

British Nationals part 2

Sunday was a mixed day with fighters from yellow belt and above fighting including senior fighters too. As with Saturday this is a sport where people don’t necessarily fight as in the more traditional martial arts, but compete for points.

Torture squats :-)

Back to military martial arts again tonight. Have managed 7 or 8 runs in the last two weeks and poomsae as many days as possible. Have also been practising sitting meditation.  I’ve ordered a medicine ball but it hasn’t arrived

If you are running a martial arts class or participate in one as a student, I would like to know how attendance is recorded – is it on paper / book or is anyone using mobile / apps / tablets
